Hunt supporters turned out in droves to watch the Suffolk Hunt at Hawstead Lodge on Boxing Day.
Richard Ames, joint master of the hunt, said that at 400-500 the number was around 10 to 15 per cent up on last year.

Around 60 riders tried unsuccessfully to flush out a fox so it could be caught by a golden eagle. They then took part in a line hunt, the dogs following a false scent.

Mr Ames said: "We had no protesters and it was a lovely day."
