There was lots of fun at Needham Lakes on Wednesday, when Harry and Sammy the hedgehogs met around 70 children.
The lakes hosted a half-term event which saw children make hedgehog boxes and twig mobiles, while Ipswich Hedgehog Rescue brought along Harry and Sammy.

Tim Dafforn, countryside ranger for Mid Suffolk, said: "Ideally the children will put the boxes they made into their own gardens ready for the winter, because hedgehogs usually hibernate from December through to March."

n The lakes will be hosting a tree dressing day on December 7 from 1pm to 3pm. The event is part of a national celebration of trees – just turn up on the day.
