Masterchef came to West Suffolk College when talented youngsters took part in a cook-off organised by Rotary International.
Eight young people aged between 14 and 18 were challenged to cook a three-course meal with ingredients costing just £14.

And it was a superb combination of goats cheese and beetroot stack, seared sea bass with rosemary scented mussels and plum and marzipan tart which won over the judges for Emily Rudd, a pupil at Finborough School.

The eight youngsters were selected from a total of 64 who took part with Rotary clubs sponsoring cook-offs at schools across the eastern region. This culminated with a Young Chef of the Year regional event.
