It has been a logistical nightmare for builders on the Cattle Market redevelop-ment this week..
Taylor Woodrow, which is building the development, has been waterproofing the top of the underground car park with a spray membrane, before laying Tarmac over the top.

"It was quite an awkward little job," said Simon Buck, senior project manager. "It is just the logistics because it's in the central square, which is the hub of the site, and that is where all our traffic would normally drive across. It has caused us a lot of problems."

Despite this – and not being able to spray when it's cold or wet – they got the job done.

Meanwhile, scaffolding has come down around part of block A, the block nearest to Palmers, which will house Topman and HMV. It is also the block which contains the show flat, which opens to the public this weekend.
