Needham Market 1 Kirkley & Pakefield 1
Despite a draw, Needham kept their title hopes in sight as their closest rivals also ended the day with one point apiece.

The fifth-placed visitors took the lead just after the half-hour when a Stockeld free-kick was deflected into Needham's net b
y Joe Jeffard.

Kirkley & Pakefield continued to put on the pressure and Needham's keeper Liam Jones lost possession 40 yards out. Fortunately, his mistake went unpunished as Blyth struck wide of an empty net.

Needham claimed a fortunate equaliser when Jeffard struck the ball past his own goalkeeper, who had moved off his line.

Of concern to the FA Vase semi-finalists was the injuries to midfielder and leading goalscorer Craig Parker and defender Scott Wark, who had to be stretchered off.

Mildenhall Town 1 Haverhill Rovers 0

A first-half lone goal proved to be the winner as the hosts consolidated their bid for the top four Premier Division finish.

Matt Robinson, returning from injury, was the scorer after reacting quickly to guide Darren Coe's off-target shot home.

Keeper Ben Nower had to be in top form to deny Haverhill on several occasions.

Walsham-le-Willows 2 Swaffham 2

The visitors took the lead when confusion resulted in Clarke heading into his own net.

Walsham battled back and Carl Deeks saw his strike tipped over the crossbar before a second setback when Julian beat the offisde trap to score.

Home team captain Trevor Newman put his side back on track with a goal just before half-time, the defender heading in from a corner to cut the deficit.

After the break Pollard put over a pinpoint cross for Matt Musgrove, who headed in the equaliser.

Stowmarket Town 2 Godmanchester Rovers 0

Stowmarket Town claimed their second succesive Division One home win under new team boss Louis Newman.

However, it was the visitors who dominated the opening exchanges but they were unable to make their goalscoring chances count. They were punished when Dellar headed home at the far post.

There was further punishment for Rovers when Pleasance's cross was misjudged by the visiting defence and Cracknell was well-positioned to make it 2-0.

The scoreline did not alter after the break, despite the Green Meadow hosts dominating and creating the best of the goalscoring chances.

Fakenham Town 2 Thetford Town 3

The visitors were looking for revenge following a 3-0 reverse last week and took advantgare of a favourable strong wind to break the deadlock.

A cross from Pask found Cole and his first-time effort wrong-footed the home keeper to give Town the lead.

Thetford increased their lead on 26 minutes when a Skipp free-kick was curled into the top left-hand corner. The visitors continued to search for goals and Pask had a good effort saved before a goal for the striker was ruled out following an offside infringement.

In the second half, the home side looked to get back in the game but Hulyer made a good save and Town went on to increase their lead with a third goal, this time Skipp's free-kick being headed home by Wood.

The hosts cut the deficit and, as Town hit the panic button, scored a second to put them within sight of a share of the points. Despite a nervy final 10 minutes, Town held on for three valuable points.
