MILDENHALL TOWN FC have been rocked by the news that Matt Robinson could be out of action for up to a month.
The pacey winger, who has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season, sustained a hamstring injury in Town's 1-0 victory against King's Lynn Reserves on Saturday and will definitely miss the club's next two matches on the road.

The Recreation Way-based outfit travel to Woodbridge Town tomorrow (ko 3pm) before a tricky midweek trip to Histon Reserves on Wednesday (ko 7.45pm).

Team manager Dave Pinkowski said, "Having someone of Matt's calibre out is a massive blow to us.

"He will definitely miss the Woodbridge and Histon games and is likely to be out for even longer."

Pinkowski is at least boosted by the return of central-midfielder Lewis Baillie and the Hall boss has also extended Ricky Campbell's loan deal to the end of the season following some dazzling displays by the 18-year-old Cambridge City attacker.

"We are pleased Ricky has decided to stay with us until May because he has been a breath of fresh air for us going forward," said Pinkowski.

Avoiding defeat tomorrow will see Town extend their mini run to six unbeaten as they look to make ground on the Ridgeons League Premier Division front-runners.

Pinkowski said, "We are going about our business quietly and there is a lot of confidence around the club at the moment.

"We still have a chance of catching the leaders."

Meanwhile, central defender Andy Eady has joined neighbours Newmarket Town after three seasons with the West Suffolk outfit.

Pinkowski added, "Andy has given great service to the football club but I just could not guarantee him first team football.

"Everyone at the club wishes him the best of luck."
