Village traditions dating back more than 50 years were brought to life at Lakenheath Village Hall.
Pensioners from the village were invited to an annual party at the village hall to mark the anniversary of the Queen's coronation. The parties have been held since the coronation in 1953.

A total of 56 people attended the event, where they were entertained by country and western band Kevin James Sound and tucked into a buffet meal.

Freda Drake, of Anchor Lane, Lakenheath, who organised the event, said: "I have been organising this event for quite a number of years and everybody said they had a truly wonderful time.

"There were all sorts of food on offer and residents from the village home came to join us.

"There will definitely be another event next year."
