A newly-elected council is to officially choose its leader and cabinet members next week.
Suffolk County Council will hold its first full meeting on Thursday following the June 6 polls, with Cllr Jeremy Pembroke, leader of the Conservative group – which increased its majority by 13 seats – expected to be re-appointed as council leader.

Although each of the authority's portfolio holders were re-elected, it is not yet known whether they will all continue in their roles.
