Children at Beck Row Primary School were treated to a special display by the Suffolk Police dog unit.
Murphy, a German Shepherd, and fellow furry colleague Remy, a golden Labrador, showed-off their skills to pupils on Friday.

Dog handler Pc Barry Miller joined PCSO Bebe Sapsford and PCSO Terence Joynson, of the Lakenheath and Rows Safer Neighbourhood Team, in introducing the dogs to the children.

During the day, Murphy displayed how he chases down criminals on the run and Remy showed how he sniffs out drugs.

He stopped PCSO Sapsford in her tracks when she placed a small packet of drugs in her pocket to demonstrate how important the dogs' role in police work was.

She said: "We wanted to go into schools so children can see what the dogs do and so they can get to know us.

"The kids absolutely loved the dogs and we will be looking to do this in more schools soon."
