Marine magic sparked the imagination of pupils at Norwich Road Primary School, in Thetford, as part of an underwater art project.
On Tuesday, Year 1 students got messy with recycled materials to create pictures of fish and sea creatures.
Lorraine Champion, Year 1 teacher, said: "The children used brilliant colours for the sea and excellent shades of blue."
Helped by children's art co-ordinators Rojo, the 50 youngsters laminated their work and it is on display in the school entrance.
Mrs Champion said: "I am sure they will go home and start making their own sea monsters with recycled materials, too."
