To celebrate national Compost Awareness Week, Forest Heath District Council will be providing residents with free soil improver made from recycled garden waste.
Residents are invited to take a spade and container to Mildenhall Household Waste Recycling Centre, in Brandon Road, on Thursday and help themselves.
The improver will be provided from 9am to 2pm and is subject to availability. The council hopes it will encourage residents to produce their own compost.
