Woodland walking

Have your say

SUFFOLK Wildlife Trust is inviting people to explore Combs Wood, near Stowmarket.

Guided walks, led by local tree expert, Neil Reekie, will take place at 10.15am and 11.15am on June 16.

There will also be a self-guided family trail, minibeast hunt and children’s craft activities. Visitors on June 16 are asked to park at Combs Middle School and to follow the footpath from Lavenham Way to the wood. All activities are free.

Sara Holman, Community Adviser, Suffolk Wildlife Trust, said “This is an opportunity for everyone, whether they are already familiar with Combs Wood or have never visited the wood before, to experience and enjoy this beautiful ancient woodland on their doorstep.”
