A PICTURESQUE village was transformed into a buzzing music festival at the weekend.
The three-day event featured 68 hours of live music in 19 venues and locations dotted throughout the village, from the main stage under the clock tower to the local pub to quiet garden stages.
The festival, which ran from Friday through to Sunday, was the first of its kind to be held in the village.
Jocelyn Targett, one of the festival organisers, said the event was a resounding success.
“It was an absolutely fabulous weekend, it went brilliantly,” he said.
“It had the intimacy and charm of a small festival, but with such a good community feel about the whole thing. Lots of people came out and were grinning from ear to ear.”
The weekend featured something for everyone, from indie nights to instrument workshops, performances by the primary school choir to jazz concerts.
And the organisers are keen that this shall be the first event - but not the last. For more information go to www.bnatural.bildeston.org
