AROUND 200 young people enjoyed a night of rollerskating at a Revolution pyjama party at Curve Motion in Bury St Edmunds.
The draw for 13 to 18-year-olds was so popular that the venue ran out of some skates and had to turn people away.
The new facility for young people in Lamdin Road provides unlicensed entertainment with music and DJs as well as a cafe area and visitors can skate or dance.
On Friday DJ Milky was at the decks and there was reduced entry for those wearing pyjamas.
Sarah Stamp, on behalf of Curve Motion said numbers had been growing since it opened in April.
“There’s a massive misconception about teenagers hanging around on street corners and potentially causing trouble but there’s a lack of things for them to do.”
