MARIE Curie Cancer Care is launching its Mini Pots of Care campaign, a fun event for schoolchildren in and around Bury St Edmunds.
Part of a national campaign, young people aged three to 11 are given a pot and daffodil bulb which they plant and nurture during the autumn and winter.
When the daffodils bloom, the charity will stage a Mini Pots of Care day when youngsters can paint their pots, learn about the charity’s work and raise money for Marie Curie.
The money raised will support the Suffolk Nursing Appeal, which needs £320,000 this year to continue to provide the 32 Marie Curie nurses in the county.
To register your school or group call 08700 340040 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/minipotsofcare by Friday.
