The winners of last year’s Bury Songwriters Competition, The Facade, are set to perform material from their much-anticipated debut EP.

The band, made up of Jonny Elstone, 18, on vocals and guitar, Becky Irvin, 17, on vocals and keyboard, bassist Matt Elstone, 18, drummer Sam Malcolm, 18 and violinist Dom Seymour, 18, are playing their new tracks at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds on March 2.

Jonny said he was looking forward to performing their new songs in his home town.

He said: “We have just recorded our first EP so this is one of the first opportunities we have had to let people hear it.

“We got the recording as a prize for winning last year’s songwriters competition. We have spent all year trying to perfect the songs for the EP.”

The EP features three tracks ‘Horizon’,‘Moving On’ and ‘When it Ends’.
