Snow White and a forger help art show

MORE than 50 pieces of artwork have alrteady been donated for a major art sale to raise funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

Charities Art, based in Bury St Edmunds, will be staging an exhibition of artworks between October 26 and October 30 at the Unitarian Meeting House in Churchgate Street, Bury.

The charity is looking for more artists to donate works and currently has works donated by Constance Stubbs, Ron Ronaldson, Ned Pamphilon and Jacquie Jones from Suffolk and Jeremy Barlow, Sarah Caswell and Lionel Wilde from Norfolk.

They have also been given an original etching by Mike Tingle which features Tom Keating, the well known forger of old masters and a certified handpainted movie cell of the wicked queen from Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
