Record crowds flock to Mansfield Park at the Theatre Royal
THE Theatre Royal’s production of Mansfield Park drew a record audience of 4,600 people during its two-week run.
The Jane Austen classic, adapted by Tim Luscombe, is now off on its 10-week national tour, which starts in Bath.
Simon Daykin, theatre chief executive, said: “Mansfield Park was the perfect combination, a quality piece of writing, adaptation and direction, beautifully designed and performed by amazing actors.
