Razorlight to play Thetford Forest
CHART-TOPPING rockers Razorlight will be lighting up the forest this summer.
The indie quartet have been announced as the final act for Forestry Commission Live Music 2012 and will play Thetford Forest on June 14.
Tickets for the show go on sale at 9am today, priced at £29.50, and are expected to be in high demand.
The East London band came to the fore in 2004 with their first album, Up All Night.
In 2006, they hit number one in the charts with their single, America.
Now working on their fourth album, the show is set to be one of the first opportunities for fans to get a preview of the band’s new songs.
Johnny Borrell, the band’s frontman, said: “We are very pleased to be doing a gig in Thetford Forest. We like the ethos behind these shows and it will be great to perform our hits alongside new material.”
Razorlight are the final act to be announced for this year’s Forestry Commission gigs and join Will Young, The Darkness, Alfie Boe, Ed Sheeran and Plan B.
