Rapper Franko Fraize releases new single

Thetford rapper Franko Fraize is releasing his new single, Siesta, on March 18.

The 27-year-old, whose single Watch How I’m Moving featured on the BBC Radio 1 playlist, has uploaded the video to his new track to YouTube prior to the official release.

Franko said he wanted the video to reflect the town he loves.

He said: “For this video, I’ve got this fellow Tom Cronin, from Stowmarket, involved. We shot it all in one take – the cast are my mates from school and people from the town.

“They have acted it really well, they had a lot of pressure on their heads but they all came along and smashed it.

“These people aren’t even part time actors – it’s just John who goes down the pub. The cafe we shot it in is somewhere we used to go for breakfast which has now closed. In a weird way it is like we have encapsulated what the cafe was like – it’s a nice send off for it.”
