Easton Farm Park, Woodbridge

Easton Farm Park, near Woodbridge, offers a hands-on day out for the whole family.

Among the many attractions at the park are pony rides, bunnies to pet, cart rides and animal feeding.

A must is a meeting with Major, the resident Suffolk Punch. Younger visitors can also go egg collecting.

Animals waiting to meet you include cows, horses, pigs, sheep goats and chickens - and why not take a quiet stroll around the park before settling in a favourite spot for a picnic.

The Riverside Cafe offers simple, wholesome food and, if the weather is wet, there are plenty of undercover areas offering shelter.

A soft play barn for younger visitors is popular, allowing mum and dad some time as the little ones let off some steam before heading out to meet some more of the animals.
