Concert funds

THE mechanical museum, in Cotton, held a special concert as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.

The event on Sunday featured organist David Ivory on the Wurlitzer and a 1920s dance band, The New Foxtrot Serenaders, from London.

The concert helped to raise more than £600 for the museum, which houses the most diverse collection of mechanical musical instruments in the country.

The museum’s open season starts on Sunday June 3 at 2pm.
