Brit award winner Julian Lloyd Webber will join the Suffolk Philharmonic Orchestra to perform three iconic English masterpieces.

The performance, at the Apex, Bury St Edmunds, will celebrate the orchestra’s first full year of concerts.

Widely regarded to be one of the finest musicians of his generation, Lloyd Webber’s performance of the Elgar cello concerto won him a Brit award and was described as the finest ever version by BBC Music Magazine.

The Suffolk Philarmonic Orchestra will perform Vaughn Williams’ symphony the ‘London’.

The atmospheric performance will be interwoven with an atmospheric London dawn and Westminster chimes showcasing the capital city in its many moods.

The concert will open with Vaughn Williams’ ‘Wasps’ overture.

Cream teas, freshly made on the premises, will be available during the 45 minute interval served with a cup of tea or coffee, just add to your basket when you purchase tickets online.
