Change the bus route

While it is understandable for the local bus company to want to run at a profit, I would like to point out that since the bus route changed several years ago, Howard estate residents have always felt they were getting second best as far as public transport is concerned.
Now, the council is moving all of its offices to Western Way, Havebury Housing has its offices in Western Way, the college and sport centre are also in that direction and soon ASDA.

Perhaps it may dawn on someone that a bus service which goes that way would be a profitable service.

Those of us without cars do need a bus that goes up Western Way and along Newmarket Road. There are doctors' surgeries and dental offices along there that used to be served by the bus. Taxis are very expensive.

Or will this situation be like the bus shelters, which were left on the wrong side of the road for several years after the routes changed?

Is it possible for a public consultation to be held so that all Howard estate residents don't end up with a second best service or no service at all, yet again?
