YOUNGSTERS entered the spirit of the recent St George’s Day event in Bury St Edmunds when they took part in a colouring competition.

As St George and his dragon entertained shoppers, children were invited to take part in a colouring competition run by Bid4Bury and Cornhill Walk.

More than 50 entries were received and the 12 winners received their prizes in a ceremony in Cornhill Walk recently.

The three age group winners were: Isla Hogg (4-5yrs) Abbie Brinkley(6-7yrs) and Sophie Ashton (8-10yrs). There was also a special prize for three-year-old Libby Strachan.
