Villages strike grants gold

A £5,000 grant from Suffolk Housing Society will help Wickhambrook revamp its play area.

The grant is part of £18,500 distributed under the society’s ‘village gold’ initiative to help rural areas to improve quality of life or community facilities. Grants also went to Witnesham Village Hall, Long Melford church, Kersey allotments, and Sutton’s play area.
