Testing quiz in aid of hospice

THERE will be some tough brainstorming at The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, on Friday with the seventh Test the Town Quiz.

Some 33 teams are already signed up to the evening, being staged by Bury Abbey Rotary Club, and the night will raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care and Aid to Hospitals Worldwide.

More tables are available for the evening, which promises to be entertaining and competetive.

Last year’s quiz raised £6,600 which was shared between Canine Partners and Wash Sailability.

Quizmasters and masters of ceremonies will be Ed Crighton and Nick Mager, and Ed, from Lacey Scott and Knight, will head up a charity auction.

A fish and chip supper will be provided and contestants will be served drinks by waiting Rotarians.

Anyone wanting to sign up should contact Sharon.Ridgeon@natwest.com
