Teachers look forward to running challenge

editorial image

THREE teachers who are used to running around after children will be running a half marathon for charity at the end of the month.

Rebecca Bishop, 29, and recently engaged couple Andy Northcote and Gillian Iffland, both 28, work together at Moreton Hall Prep School, in Mount Road.

They will run the Roding Valley Half Marathon, in Woodford Green, Essex, on February 26 to raise funds for the Moreton Hall school’s Jubilee appeal for new classrooms and Lis Mary, a seven-year-old girl in Peru who the school sponsors through Actionaid.

Andy said: “We’re all extremely excited. We’re quite busy at school so a bit under-prepared but it should be great fun and a great challenge.”
