Suffolk Circle set to expand
AN ORGANISATION that helps the over 50s to meet new people and try new things is expanding in Stowmarket.
“Suffolk Circle offers members practical help to make life easier and social opportunities to make life more fun - joining us is a great way to get things done and meet new people,” said Finbarr Carter, Suffolk Circle’s membership secretary.
He added: “More and more members are joining us from around Stowmarket and asking us to help grow their network of helpers and friends.”
Members will hold an informal drop in, with free tea, at Stowmarket Library between 11am and 2pm on Tuesday. They will promote this year’s calendar of events, which include a lunch at The Punch Bowl, in Battisford, on February 29.
Membership costs £30 per year or £2.50 per month and includes a monthly calendar of local events and activities, access to CRB checked helpers and special offers at a range of local shops and cafes.
