A ROTARY club is bucking the trend after its membership swelled in the last year.

Brandon & District Rotary Club recently inducted its 30th member after a concerted membership drive.

The club was down to just 17 members as recently as a few years ago and the club has put its success down to a busy social diary and active fund-raising for various charities.

The club meets at Santon Downham Community Centre each Thursday evening.
