Lambs arrive
THIS year’s new lambs have arrived at Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm in time for its half term opening tomorrow. The farm has kept fingers crossed after insect-borne Schmallenberg virus, which causes birth deformities, was reported in sheep in Norfolk and Suffolk.
But yesterday partner and livestock manager Neil Storer said: “We’re expecting more lambs today and tomorrow and so far it’s all going well.”
The farm opens from 11am over the weekend and then all next week except Tuesday.
