Gym opening

Olympic gold medal winner Sally Gunnell OBE will open a new £250,000 gym at Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre.

Sally, who is also a World, European and Commonwealth gold medal winner, will open the gym, managed by Abbeycroft Leisure in partnership with St Edmundsbury Borough Council, on February 11.

The new gym features 110 pieces of the latest gym kit.

Fitness manager Matt Hickey said: “We are delighted that Sally Gunnell OBE will be opening our new gym.”
