Graffiti will cost £4,000 to remove

A MONTH-long spate of graffiti in Needham Market has caused an estimated £4,000 of damage.

Police are appealing for information in relation to the tags and designs which have been sprayed on buildings at the Lion Barn Industrial Estate, the pre school and the United Reformed Church.

Lucy Welham, manager of Needham Market Pre School, said they must now find the money to remove the graffiti.

She said the artists must be very talented and said she would welcome them creating appropriate graffiti artwork.

“It’s a shame that this is the only thing that talented youngsters have to do, all their energy would be much better channelled into something else,” she added.

Anyone with any information contact police 01473 613500.
