Firewalk for charity

BRAVE volunteers are needed for a firewalk being staged at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club.

The Stroke Association is holding a Valentine’s Firewalk Challenge on Sunday, February 12, and is looking for people to take part.

Participants will walk barefoot over a strip of burning coals and individuals and teams are needed to raise funds for the work of the charity.

Training will be provided on the day by Scott Bell, of UK Firewalk, who is a Guinness world record holder for the greatest fire walking distance.

It costs £10 to register and people are asked to raise £50 in donations.

To take part, contact 01284 749650 or email valentinesfirewalk@stroke.org.uk
