Factory staff help widow with funeral

STAFF at a Bury St Edmunds factory have raised more than £2,000 for the widow of a colleague who was recently killed in a car accident in Horringer.

Adrian Lange worked as a production operative at Direct Tables Foods and was pronounced dead at the scene following an accident on his way to work last month.

Staff at the Little Saxham based factory have raised a total of £2,300 to help the 24-year-old’s widow pay to fly his body back home to Poland and assist with funeral costs.

A company spokesman said: “This figure by far exceeded our initial expectations and we have been overwhelmed by the level of support.”
