Charity event for youngsters

ORGANISERS of this year’s Little Legs for Life are encouraging youngsters to sign up.

Young people aged 12 and under can take part in the sponsored walk or run at Moreton Hall Community Centre, in Bury St Edmunds, on September 1, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Other activities include a zumba warm up, a bouncy castle course, face painting, t-shirt printing, a smoothie bike, live music, raffle and tombola.

There will also be a barbecue, home made cakes and refreshments.

Children, who can take part in fancy dress, will receive a medal, certificate and goody bag.

The family that raies the most money will win a voucher worth £50 for the Beefeater restaurant, in Bury.

Raffle and tombola prizes include tickets to any show at the Apex, free passes for Curve Motion and swimming passes for Bury Leisure Centre.

Entry forms for the event, which is from 11am to 4pm, are available from www.littlelegsforlifebse.co.uk or call 07403624370 for any inquiries.
