Brandon rotarians cycle to raise finds

BRANDON Rotary Club members took to two wheels and raised £1,000 for the Wheel Power charity which supports athletes in wheelchairs.

They are part of a regional fund-raiser by Rotary which sees clubs visiting each other using any ‘green’ means available.

Brandon pedalled to Swaffham to meet rotarians there and a few weeks ago were visited by Thetford Rotary Club members who rafted down the Little Ouse to Brandon as part of the charity scheme.

More than 70 clubs in Rotary District 1080 will be taking part during the year.
