Appeal for replacement Brownie leaders

Leaders of a long-running Brownie pack, who plan to retire from their roles, are appealing for volunteers to follow in their footsteps.

Brown Owl Jill Davies with Erica Short and Elizabeth Bowers aim to bow out as leaders of the 17th Bury St Edmunds Brownies, based at Hardwick Middle School, next year.

They are looking to train up the next generation of leaders and want those interested to get in touch.

Mrs Davies has been involved with the group for nearly 30 years.
