Jack Stokes Senior Many of you will remember me as the boss at Shetland Boats in Stanton. I celebrated my 90th Birthday on 23rd August 2010 & Alix (my baby) at Stanton BP put the word out to boys and girls who had worked at Shetland Boats and invited them to drop a birthday card in to save the postage as Jack (my son) and his wife Jayne were coming to New Zealand for my birthday. I was greatly humbled by the huge number of cards that I received and it was very interesting to try and put names to faces. We had a lovely party on the 23rd and I would like to thank everyone who sent a card and even those who didn't but worked at Shetland Boats at Stanton during those busy days.
