Six bands are set to rock West Row with a wide mix of sounds from indie covers to original blues.
Organisers are keeping their fingers crossed for good weather as the event will take place outside the village hall, in Beeches Road.
The Swamp Donkeys, from West Row, just one of the bands that will be showing off their skills, have been together since the end of 2005.
Band members describe their backgrounds as a 'liquorice allsorts selection' with an ever-growing eclectic playlist.
Headlining the stage will be one of the region's favourite tribute bands, The Fillers, who play a great selection of music by The Killers.
Lynn Morley, who initially came up with the idea when she saw how popular a number of bands were in West Row, said: "It's the first time we have done anything like this and we have got no idea how many people are going to turn up.
"I'm so looking forward to this. We are just hoping the local people support us as well."
The four other bands will be West Row and Beck Row band All Bets Are Off, who play classic rock, grunge and indie covers, Bridgefire, who are an original alternative blues rock band, Rich Aroma and Inverse Oreo – a three-piece guitar band playing a modern slant on covers.
The band day on July 12, from 3pm, will help to raise money to keep the village hall running. There will also be a barbecue, bar, coconut shy, a basketball game, Punch and Judy show and balloon models.
